I like turnip.

Perhaps my lack of plot ideas is related to my lack of a kingdom. Clearly I need to take over a neighbouring plot idea kingdom and it will be margaritas turnips plain sailing all the way.

And if I had a million pounds, I'd buy a great big turnip in the country *g*

A combination of reading the first chunk of 'Les Miserables' and listening to a 'Best of David Bowie' album and eating some takeaway noodles have resulted in A PLOT \o/ (I swear all those elements make sense together and will be recognisable [ish] in said story)

Next year I vote for mangelwurzels...

But do stoats/sheep/dinosaurs eat turnips? We don't want the RSPCA involved.

[identity profile] dawnebeth.livejournal.com 2015-03-11 06:36 pm (UTC)(link)
Were turnips even around in dinosaur days?

[identity profile] dawnebeth.livejournal.com 2015-03-11 06:38 pm (UTC)(link)
I reject all turnip related subjects. I wanted a strawberry daiquiri, not a margarita.

I've got half a plot--does that count? I may need several strawberry daiquiris.

I have no idea... honestly, that David Attenborough's never around when you need him. On the other hand, I bet no self-respecting dinosaur would turn its snout up at a decent cocktail. *nods*

I've finished Other Fandom Project and am in 'rolling up my sleeves and watching episodes' mode.

Were turnips - very dangerous around a full moon (just saying...)

[identity profile] dawnebeth.livejournal.com 2015-03-11 09:16 pm (UTC)(link)
Were-turnips. Okay, I'm terrified now, although were-radishes and were-parsnips are even more frightening.

*nods* But if you think were-vegetables are bad, wait until you encounter a were-stoat.

Wow margaritas turnips. . . .finally a way to make desirable to my family!!

[identity profile] golden-bastet.livejournal.com 2015-03-12 01:34 am (UTC)(link)
...Can I have the margarita anyway?

Though I'm not so chuffed; just hoping I don't look up and it's suddenly 15 Aug. :-(

I'm well and truly in the margarita brigade, but number five really resonated. I guess that means any story by me would have been posted on a couple of dozen turnips. :D

Thanks a lot!

Historical AU Idea #176 - Our Lads plus something to do with Turnip Townshend, Norfolk Crop Rotation and the Agricultural Revolution.

Okay. *takes idea off list*

Personally, I find all that very interesting, but okay.
