Happy Friday all you dedicated little agents out there!

How are things going? Scribbling away furiously? Writing at a steady pace? Doodling and looking out of the window? In complete denial? It's all good - we're here to listen and encourage!

Maybe you'd like to share a teeny snippet of your developing masterpiece with us? Just a line or two - and of course nothing that could identify major plot points, or tie the story to you when we come to time for our artists to make their choices - we must preserve anonymity (much like the Lads on a stakeout...)! But a teeny little bit of random Pros goodness couldn't hurt, could it? Just a smidge?

Oh I'm so thrilled with this post! Not looked at the text for ages as had other projects on the go but just got back to it and doing some serious looking through.
Heck you guys are SO brave. I had this story well on the go before sign ups and would NEVER have even thought of entering had it not been for a very good friend suggesting it. I just dont know if I could go into it like you guys with a blank sheet. As it is I'm finished (no smugness there whatsoever!) at 46,000 words, and this week, IT GOT ITS TITLE! I still have one major issue with it, but no real way to proceed on that at the moment. As for a snippet? Well what do you fancy? Something a bit saucy or something a bit random? I think I'll give you random.

"Bodie, if I asked you to do something for me, would you do it, please?"
Bodie contemplated a glib answer for just a moment, but decided this probably wasn't the time.
"What is it, mate?"
"Cut this off." he said, vaguely indicating his hair without actually touching it.

There you go, can't get more random than that!

Oooooooh! You little tease, you! HUMUNGOUS (is that even a word?) CHEERING for having finished your story with a title ALREADY *and* to your friend for having suggested you enter it in the BB!!! It has to be said this reminds me of hagsrus's "Poetry To Protect Us", but the not touching also makes me wonder about toxic/noxious substances.

Or a perm/dyejob gone badly wrong (thinking of Anne of Green Gables dyeing her hair green and my Mum emerging from the hairdresser with an '80s perm that made Dad say her hair looked like a bike-helmet)...

Intrigue! Looking forward to whatever it may be. :)
