There are nearly 10,000 words. However, the quality of said words are doubtful and may not be salvageable.

It's much too early to start doubting! Now might be a good time to send your story (finished or not) off to a friend or a beta for a read-through. Not a full out critique but someone to give you some feedback, someone to ask questions, someone to help you maintain your sanity through the BB process :-)

All of the beta's listed in the post below have many years in the Big Bang and Pro's fandom/world and most have been beta's before. I've used several and they are all very good at finding plot issues, character issues, brit picking and can help either put you back on course or at least, steady the ship!
