There actually are 30 (?) days left. If you're done with your other story, you still have time.
But I definitely understand what you're getting at. I have a variation of that where usually I have a faint idea for a long fic, and one or two particular scenes - which I can't get beyond. (Oh, and how many times have I been out, or driving, or at work, and think up a great development; and then, when I'm back near paper or a machine, can't remember why the development was so great. :-/) Which is probably why what I have managed to complete I've done in a day or to. Endurance is my stumbling block.
Maybe if you can block off a weekend (next weekend?) and see how much comes out, that would be a sign of what you'd need to do to truly say yea or nay? From what you've said, you really haven't had a to work on it.
all I can think of when I think of 20,000 words of PWP is poor, exhausted, sore lads.
But think of the crack possibilities... 'cause it's not humanly possible. :D
