It's that weekly check-in time again, so feel free to step on up and use the comments to tell us how you're doing.   Or, alternatively,  flail/cry/jump-for-joy/pour a large one (delete as applicable).   Got any questions you need answered?  Ask away!   Just want to chat about something that isn't the Pros Big Bang?  Well...we're probably OK with that too ;)

Transistor or car radio? I had a cassette player in my car at the time, as well.

OK - would a transistor radio play cassettes? I'm thinking about someone with a collection of a specific artist and how they'd have it.

No, transistor radios were about the size of a nook book reader but only picked up radio waves. I used to have a small cassette player but it wasn't the sort of thing you'd carry around to listen to music with.

The walkman portable cassette player came out from Sony in '79-80 if that works for you. It had small headphones.
