This week's check in comes after our charming and talented artists have been assigned their charming and talented writers. So we can finally hear from the art side of our challenge team.

How are things going, artists? Are you excited about the story you claimed? Do you have lots of ideas?

And for the writers, how's your writing going? Are you eagerly looking forward to the September deadline, or starting to have a bit of a meltdown?

I'm over the moon with my writer/story. *waves at Merentha*

It's such a strong story it's given me a ton of ideas for the artwork, and I'm at the all-fur-coat-no-knickers stage where I'm making doodles all over the place trying to decide which way to go... decisions decisions *g*
