The next big deadline for writers will be July 1st, when the rough draft (5,000 words minimum) and outline will be due, and more information about this will follow as we get closer to the date.

In the meantime, stay tuned for weekly check-in posts for the chance to chat and to see how things are going.

Some years we wonder if perhaps we should maybe make this a 2 yearly event and then this happens, more lovely writers than we can shake a stick at!

My good self is still at 840 words, my good self needs to get her rear end in gear! :0)

5k is just over 4 chapters for me. I'm thinking I'll come in around 8 or 10 chapters. But what do I know, last time I estimated a 15k story it came in at 30!
