How is everyone doing this week? Writing coming along well? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments!

For those of you who like to procrastinate by reading other people's writing tips and who could use a few more words on that Big Bang draft, I recommend How I Went From Writing 2,000 Words a Day to 10,000 Words a Day.

For those of you with a lot of spare time, there's the Absolute Write thread Learn Writing With Uncle Jim. It's geared more towards the professional-novelist side of things, but it's still good advice.

Actually, I think you're doing awesome. It's just sorting through what you currently want to express, and you'll figure that out.

And better yet - we have multiple stories to look forward to from you! :D

You write 6,000 words in a day?
Occasionally. It's by no means an every day sort of thing, and I usually need a day or two to 'recover', but yeah, when I'm in the groove, I can definitely write that much in a day.

Thanks! What I really need is a more detailed outline and that's what I'm going to be focusing on this weekend. Once I can get that down, the writing should move better.

*g* They may take years to get done, but yeah, I do have ideas for three long stories... at the moment.

LOL Awww, but he'd look so good with pointy ears! Although, he's a bit hairy-chested to be a 'proper' elf. *g*
