I love all the parts of the process, and my Big Bang vid is going to be one of my fave vids ever because I worked so closely with my author on it.

I'd love my artist to get in touch, just to say Hi - I've sent a LJ msg but I realise LJ has been down a lot recently - are you out there gblvr?!!

I'm not doing art this year but I love finding the perfect song. It makes the vid come alive, I think.

I love everything about the process, but I'm still a pathological procrastinator. I don't put off doing it because I don't want to - I love making the graphics for someone else's story, but my MO has always been last minute for everything. Packing, college assignments, admin - you name it.

So yeah...I will do the bulk of the work closer to the deadline, but I'm already having ideas for the wonderful story I've been assigned and Halo might find herself harrassed for opinions sooner than my usual habits allow. *g*

This sounds awfully familiar. The Sweetie is chronically early for things, so he pushes me to do the same, but left to my own devices I'm far more likely to try and see how long I can push things before I get started.

But maybe I should´ve voted for the first answer instead, because I just shredded WMM which I was at least a tiny bit accustomed to. Now I´ve got WLiveMM, and it´s just so different...darn it!

I have to lease out the little Maus, so I´ll be able to get some undisturbed time for learning...
Is that still procrastinating? *sigh*

The thought of having to learn new software when I had a vid due sort of makes me shudder. Hope everything works out smoothly. And that you get some undisturbed learning time. I don't think that counts as procrastinating. Quite. *g*

MY favourite part of vidding is Special Effects.
I love it to "play"with the lads.

And my vid is ready to "take off". My artist is a very good writer so I had everything in my inner eye LOL

It was real fun doing it ;-)

I use minimal special effects myself, but am always fascinated when other people use them a lot.
