Weekly Check-In Post

Greetings, Pros Big Bang participants! It's another week, and that means it's time for another weekly check-in post. Feel free to talk about anything you want to talk about (related to the BB, that is) in the comments!

I know we've linked it before, but one site writers may find helpful is Written? Kitten!, which features a text box and a picture of a kitten. Every hundred words (or whatever number you like), you get a new kitten picture! Even if you have used the site before, one thing you may not know is that it's not just pictures of kittens -- you can customize it. So if you don't like kittens, you can have puppies, or whatever else you want, by changing the word(s) on the end of the URL there. (It searches by Flickr tags, apparently. I don't think there's any Pros, alas, but maybe you'll have better luck than I did.)

So, how's it going?

LOL!
Kittens. Very intriguing teasers!
I can't wait reading BB stories inspired by them. :-)

What a great idea that site is! :)) And not only do I think I have a proper plot now, but I've also sorted out other writing commitments this year so I can see a way through it all! Yay! :))

I started writing this last night, and somewhere between uploading the kitten picture and getting a link to post... I fell asleep. D:

Well, kitten picture later.

:-)

I'm smiling a lot lately. Not sure why, but I'll take it.

Well, I finished book #1, and need a couple of weeks before getting my hands on book #2. Book #1 was very good and makes me want to change the focus of the story. I don't know if book #2 will do all that, but I wish I had more like that to read.

I'm thinking about starting in on the editing while I'm waiting, though. Or I can look at kittens, too. :D

And there it be: KITTENZ, I say.

Not that you can actually *read* it or anything... >:-(

Cool site! Clearly, I need every incentive I can get, since I'm still only at the vague idea stage. Although, hey, at least I finally have an idea! Even if it is vague. At least I still have time! It's not even April yet. Oh. Wait...

I have failed miserably the past two weeks. I went to two cons instead of writing. *hangs head* I'd better get back to it!!!

[identity profile] dawnebeth.livejournal.com 2014-04-01 05:25 pm (UTC)(link)
But cons are inspirational, aren't they? Buoy the spirits and sharpen the writing tool. At least that's what I tell myself.

Oh, kittens! Actually, the kittens helped last year. Not for the BB, mind you :) But perhaps they will this year.

Because - oh dear - no words! Loads of time, right? Loads...

Nothing - nihil, nichts, nada, rien, niets, niente. Or sod all, you could say.

I am writing on my story right now! No kittens therein but ponies and nuns...

Ponies and nuns? Ooookay . . . .

Maybe if I have them shagging a lot nobody will notice the plot holes? *BEG*

Shagging can improve many situations.

I promise, I shall not notice the plot holes! Give them a good time!
