Notes: After reading "Leaving Scars", the lovely Sandra asked "What happens next?" so I decided to write a 'curtain' fic. As you will find, I didn't succeed. This isn't a tale of cozy domesticity. I just had to have a plot and angst!

I would like to thank Sandra for the original impetus; the Moderators of the 2015 Big Bang for their assistance and support and Milomaus for her artwork, which should be embedded in the story but somehow hasn't survived the copying and pasting exercise.
