OMG - icon!love!!! *stares happily at the pretty, pretty Bodie icon*

Oh, I was THRILLED to be the one doing art for [livejournal.com profile] golden_bastet's story! I adore AUs and this one really appealed. As soon as I read 'Bodie' and 'charioteer,' I was hooked! I loved GB's story and its wonderful Ancient Egyptian setting, so the art was really easy to make. When we were discussing styles for the artwork, GB said she'd thought about tomb paintings, but I wasn't able to make that work without the background looking too busy, so I went for the hieroglyphs instead.
