I should use the "I have to make Bodie really unhappy" picture (though I'm not killing off anyone recognizable to do it, LOL).

I mentioned somewhere (though not here) that I'm taking a brief writing course, and I have to have either an outline or the first part of the story by Thursday night. I'm psyched, but I'm not going to have enough time to write the beginning of the story by Thursday night, LOL. So an outline it is! with genders modified to protect the innocent me.

Have been writing...um...Man from U.N.C.L.E. (cue exasperated Cowley scene).

Have been reading Pros...(cue Cowley 'get a move on' scene).

Will endeavour to have something worth reporting next week - although can almost guarantee I won't have finished. (Cue Bodie smirking at Doyle behind Cowley's back because, for once, some other poor sod is copping it scene).

Oooh... those pictures tell a much better story than I've currently got 1,300 words of! Am in the rather dangerous territory of thinking July is aaaages away, but as I don't usually even get around to badgering everyone for story ideas until at least May I suppose I'm actually way ahead of schedule \o/

A writing class sounds like fun. If you get in a bind you could use the outline presented here *g* And, yes, the innocent definitely need protecting! Enjoy your class.

I've got my starting orders and the first chapter is written in my head but so far that's where it has stayed because I got distracted by things like politics. Also by a fab book (Eleventh Hour by Elin Gregory) which combines m/m romance with spies in London in 1925 including guns, cars, grenades, sewers and a nailbiting ending.

We're going to do a kind of ping pong with different povs (each taking one) roughly alternating throughout. So yes, we've at least made decisions.

Most of my story is still in my head (and on various bits of receipts, stick notes and bank slips - whatever is handy when the muse strikes!) At least you know where you are going to start.

And thanks for the book info - I read the first chapter at amazon and now it resides on my Kindle :-)

Enjoy! I loved the book and I think it would resonate with Pros fans because the whole premise - spy guys in London, undercover, bombs, etc etc is just so relevant! Just be warned, I couldn't put it down and was nearly late for an appointment.

I don't even write post-it notes - well, I do,but they're for things like shopping lists, not writing. I do have a personal Trello where I list things as I go along, but I don't usually set things out in advance, I just know the general direction I'm going in. And of course, with two of us writing, there are going to be surprises along the way!
