[identity profile] przed.livejournal.com posting in [community profile] ci5_boxoftricks
I'm very sorry to announce that [livejournal.com profile] loyseofverlaine will not be posting her story on September 30.

She's very disappointed, but RL commitments have proven too much and she just was not able to finish.

But she has assured me that she is going to continue working on the story, and she hopes to post it in "a few weeks." I, for one, will be eagerly looking forward to it.

That's a shame. I hope she's okay and everything's well. I look forward to seeing the story.

Which reminds me - will more stories be posted on the Big Bang site? Only I'm not very good at keeping up with LJ, so I don't know if I'll miss any other stories. I'm subscribed to Tea and Swiss Roll, and Safehouse. Will I catch any more stories on there, or is there another way of keeping up?

I can't get my head around LJ. Sorry.

Aw, drat! But I know where she will be next week, rooming with me at SHarecon, so maybe I will get a sneak preview! lol

Yeah, the convergence of Pros fandom and Starsky and Hutch cracked me up since it will be me, Verlaine and sc_fossil in the same room. (not to mention a few/dozen or two other Pros fans in the convention)

You should join us! I can't wait. There's a good number of Pros fans who cross over into S&H and vice versa. I know you met several at CQ last year.

Oh, darn. I love Verlaine's stuff. I'll be sure to give her a boot in the backside hug next week when I see her and encourage her gently to finish!

I suddenly have visions of Verlaine surrounded by a threatening mob of Pros fans muttering "hand over your big bang and no one gets hurt." Erm... *g*

I totally understand how RL commitments can interfere--and in fact must, from time to time. I am very much looking forward to seeing this story eventually! It was top of my list since I heard the initial mutterings about it. *g*

Aww - RL is a right pain sometimes. Looking forward to reading Verlaine's story when she does get a chance to finish it. I'm so slow reading at the moment that it'll probably be posted well before I get around to her spot on the list!

RL gets in the way

RL is so unreasonable! Doesn't it know it needs to behave when Pros fic hangs in the balance!?

Seriously, I hope that she's OK and that all is well or soon will be. I will look forward to the fic - it will be like getting a present that's been delayed in the post: just the thing to counter the blues of the post-BB letdown! *g*

RL is such a pain in the arse... it has no tact, no consideration, no sense of priority ::looks stern::

I hope whatever's happening with Verlaine ::waves and sends hugs:: isn't too overwhelming, and it'll be great to have another fab story to look forward to - I'm reading so slowly anyway that like ND says, she'll probably post before I ever get there!

The historical AU crowd is the worst.

Verlaine's cross-over Jack the Ripper story sounded really intriguing. I do hope we will get a chance to read the finished story.
