Notes: It's taken two years to finish this one. It should have been included in BB2012 but it just wouldn't flow. So, first of all, thanks to the Mods for their understanding and in letting me delay to this year. Then, again, thanks to the Mods for letting me post so late in the month. To say this one came right down to the wire is an understatement! Thanks also to S for checking over the first 30k words and to my own personal cheering section, ILWB, without her comments and encouragement this story would be much shorter. And, finally, to my artist, Mella68. Thank you for the two lovely pieces of artwork. Unfortunately I haven't been able to figure out how to include them in my post so over to you to share them.
