Summary: Four years after the resumption of their personal relationship, Bodie and Doyle are living happily together. But the past has a way of coming back to haunt you. And when its tentacles reach out to ensnare those they hold most dear, they find themselves on the verge of losing everything.

Notes: After reading "Leaving Scars", the lovely Sandra asked "What happens next?" so I decided to write a 'curtain' fic. As you will find, I didn't succeed. This isn't a tale of cozy domesticity. I just had to have a plot and angst!

I would like to thank Sandra for the original impetus; the Moderators of the 2015 Big Bang for their assistance and support and Milomaus for her artwork, which should be embedded in the story but somehow hasn't survived the copying and pasting exercise.
