Bodie keeps calm and carries on, while Herzl threatens bloody revenge against everyone from her jail cell. Grieving widow June Cook tells Doyle it’s all right for him to play cowboys for the rest of his miserable, selfish, life – because he doesn’t have anyone to lose. Thinking about it, Doyle decides this is probably true. But then again, that may be because he’s more than a little lost himself.
