Box of Tricks

I'm looking forward to the final reveal and have had a wonderful time doing a vid for my drop dead gorgeous writer. (I haven't heard from my artist though, is that okay, do you think?) Here's a little bit of my story.

Bodie trudged up the stairs after them, to find Doyle on his knees trying to light the little electric fire. He wasn’t doing very well, what with shaky hands that were stained blue from the dripping wet motorbike gloves he had been wearing.

“F..f...fucking th...th...thing.”

Bodie’s heart melted in the cold of the unwelcoming flat. He pulled Doyle to his feet and held him steady. “You’re soaked,” he said, unnecessarily.

“T...t...tell me s...s...something I d...d...don’t know,” replied Doyle, his teeth chattering.
