Well, well, well.   Today's the day, eh?   The finish line is well and truly in sight!

So, authors - let us know how it feels to have the finished draft submitted/about to be submitted.  Freeing?  Cause for a party?  Terrifying beyond all belief (surely not! :D)?

And artists - we're well on our way now, with our rough drafts submitted today, and from now until posting day to work on perfecting them.  Or maybe you're the organised type (*hint*  This would not be me....) - already finished so you can sit back and put your feet up with a well-deserved glass of something fizzy?

Feel free to use this post as a place to squee, flail, gibber, chat or collapse in a heap and wait for a good-looking agent to come around and feed you grapes and pet your hair.

And can I also just say, on behalf of all my fellow modly types,  thank you so much to all who are playing, cheerleading and reading along in this year's Big Bang.  It wouldn't be anything without your participation and support.  We're grateful for so much enthusiasm, and very excited to see the results!   Go Pros!

I feel a sense of incredible disbelief that I have produced a finished thing - it seemed like it was fundamentally impossible for a while there! *g* But seeing your lovely art helped so much, as I've said already ♥

That said, 'finished' is a relative term, I have a few more edits I want to do before posting - excited about getting the posting date now!

Well, I was going to write a witty post and such - but work has been murder. I was reading out loud for the final run-through and nodding off. So I think I'm going to go to sleep now...

But I will be happy later. :D

And I did want to go personally thank everyone who's helped with the process, so I'll stay up long enough to do that.

I can't quite believe I got mine to a state where it could be seen! It's not finished. Oh, no that would be too much to hope for but it is nearly there. Just some final tweaks and a read out loud and possibly a new scene or two. Heck! Might be more to be done than I thought. Better get to it then.

Looking forward to reading and seeing everyone else's efforts. My artist has done an amazing job.

My Kindle is considering a threesome with Norfolk Dumpling's and Heliophile's... I imagine the entire fandom is getting excited now that October is nearly here!! I know from my experinece last year just how much effort all you wonderful writers and artists have put into this. Cheering you on to the finishing line of posting dates!!
