Date: 2012-05-15 11:54 am (UTC)Thanks for the links! The "how to write a sex scene" link is *really* helpful, since that's a weakness, but they all help keep the Good Ship BB on the right course. :D
I'm feeling much better about things right now. I set aside time last weekend and just wrote - and better yet, figured out the next things I have to do task-wise and story-wise. Am at about 7,800 words, and wrote the weekend count plus 3/4ths of the count for this week in a day and a half. Am looking up sources for the research left to be done. If I sat down and did an updated outline, it would actually show some story progression. :D And as things stand right now, there isn't much in the way of sex scenes yet besides generally knowing where they should fall, so that will up the count as well.
So the BB's looking much more doable now, although I didn't get something done for my boss.
But you know? I can't spend seven days a week working for months on end; and having a job (which I do appreciate having) doesn't mean I completely surrender my life (in which I still have the broken foot, and actually just moved as well) in order to complete tasks when we've all been signed up for waaaay too much with no say in the matter.
...Wow, that sounds like I'm unloading a bit there, LOL.
And thanks for the answers to my literary question; I'll reply when the netbook isn't trying to blow up from being overloaded with script requests, LOL.
