*waves hello to everyone*

A big hello and welcome to our latest check in post.

[Poll #1904607]

And lastly, as always, let us know how you are getting on, ask us any questions, or just chat about anything you like in the comments to this post *g*.

Ticky boxes! I wanted to tick off 'Just typeing Bodie and Doyle a lot of time' but I'd already chosen four, so I figured I was at my limit.

LOTS of words on the page, Bodie and Doyle have just finished eating lunch and are going back to confer with Cowley. ;-)

After all the check ins with people talking about word count in the thousands, which had me hiding in a corner gibbering "how are they doing it?", I am greatly relieved to see a ticky-box I can tick with honesty. Several of them in fact. All to do with procrastination, escape or "waiting for inspiration".

I am nowhere near started. Part of this is real life crashing in on me, but I knew that there would be real life to contend with when I started. I'm more concerned that I haven't got a plot, still. Gibber. (I have three perfectly serviceable ideas. I just don't want to do any of them.)

I am indeed writing about five versions of the same sentence on the page and kidding myself that it counts. It will be a very carefully-wrought sentence when it emerges. It will have nothing to do with the actual plot, but it will look beautiful.

Ticky boxes for the win! Well, ticky boxes always win.

I did start reading over what I wrote a few weeks back. It could be a story. Maybe.

I know - I'll count the words; I could do that. Though maybe not so much at this machine.

I actually had an excellent idea for the Bb. I just can't put it into place *for* the BB. But I wanted to write two stories this year (before everything got shot to hell); maybe I could try it on the second idea...

I ticked a box. I lied. It made me feel better.

*hides under rock*

I have an idea! Sort of! A setting and basic plot set-up anyway. I need to begin writing it, of course, but these are details..... *g*

I have a few ideas, but I still have only notes written down. Things have been a bit hectic here and the family haven't been too well so I haven't had the chance. Hopefully I can decide which plot I want to write before the end of the this week. :)

We're getting there! I think all this cold weather and snow took it's toll on us this time. :)

17,000+ words and counting

I've got over 30 pages done, but I'm just getting into the most difficult part so I will really slow down now.

I have a full plot now, up to a certain point. Not 100% sure how it's going to end...
