[identity profile] norfolkdumpling.livejournal.com posting in [community profile] ci5_boxoftricks
As we are now getting ever closer to our deadline of 23rd September we thought we'd put up the details of what you need to do to submit your stories and art.

Writers

Send your completed story to the following email address:

prosbigbang@gmail.com

Please use the following naming convention for the file:

prosbigbang_yourname_storytitle.doc

We're expecting that your draft is complete at this point, though you can definitely tweak before your posting date.

Artists

Please send the rough draft of your art to the same addresses above. It's not necessary to have completed art by this point (though that would be lovely) but we would like to know that you're on the way to finishing.

Writers and Artists

Since our next step is to create the posting schedule , please let us know if there are any dates that we should absolutely avoid giving you.

We want to make sure everyone has a date they're comfortable with, and one on which they can easily get their story or art up.

We’ll do our best to accommodate any requests, but we’d like everyone to appreciate that we're aiming to spread the stories out as evenly as possible throughout the month.

Next steps

Once we have everyone's stories and art, we will be putting together the posting schedule. And when that's done, we'll be emailing everyone their posting date, along with details of how to create a post at [livejournal.com profile] ci5_boxoftricks with links to whichever location you’ve chosen to post your story and art to (LJ, Dreamwidth, The Automated Hatstand, AO3, etc).

And Bob’s your uncle

Drop us a line at the address above if you have any questions or issues.

Thanks once again to everyone for participating. We can't wait to see everyone's contributions to the challenge.

Hello! I've already finished my artworks for the story I've been assigned by this point. Yay! And I'd like to send you mods my artworks (Actually they'll be the links of the artworks) before the deadline because I'll be oversea and might not have time to do that on 23rd. I think I'll send the you the links around 19th. Is it OK?

Crap, still not finished... but I shall, I shall! In time!

*gibber*

(And yeah, I know I'm wasting time with all this posting on LJ, but I'm just very very tired at the moment and need a quick break from story! I am away over next weekend - bad planning, I know, but I expected to be finished by then - so if you don't get the draft on Friday, it will be on the Monday itself.)

Phew! I've gone from not quite half-way through three weeks ago to finished ... and I still don't know how I did it, what with working as well. Someone, somewhere must have been smiling down on me. I just want one more read through and I'm done :)

Fingers crossed for anyone not quite there yet. There's still one week to go ...

Oh, well done!

If I had posted this morning, this would have been posted with clenched teeth and forced smile, but breakthroughs have happened and I am off to pin them down into words.

From not-quite-halfway to done in three weeks sounds like some kind of BB record, so double well done on that!

Hey. Look at this! 24669 words, plus two very vital ones: The End.

Am going for a walk now, then shall come back, fix all the INSERTNAMEHEREs, and you shall have your draft by the end of the day!

But I shall be tweaking and fiddling all the way up to the deadline. Definitely.

*turns cartwheels in excitement*

Hi! I completed the art for the story, though my author didn't tell me yet what pictures she prefers. The problem right now is - I have some strange problems with my mail, can't get access to it since this morning. I'll send my art as soon as I can get in. Thank you.

Hi there, Moonlightmead, just stopping by to do a bit of virtual cheerleading (not a pretty sight!) and to see how you are doing. Did you manage to pin all those words down in time? I'm keeping everything crossed for you. :)
