Summary:Caring for a ten month old baby girl isn’t quite what Bodie and Doyle expected when they set out to meet a colleague in a small village. Neither were foreign agents and black habited nuns. After a day like this, is it any wonder Bodie and Doyle fall into each other’s arms?

Notes: My inspiration--this was a nod to the I Spy episode Carmelita's One of Us. However--when I actually watched the ep with an eye for plot, alas, there wasn't one. So instead of my original, and brilliant plan, to rip off an old Kelly and Scotty adventure, I had to really write the story! Thank you so very much to my editor Kat (sc_fossil) who always weeds out the worst of the repetitive words. To wightfaerie who isn't even in the fandom but does my Brit checking. Hugs to the entire CI5 Boxoftricks comm for all the fantastic organization and cheerleading.

I really liked this story. I have no knowledge of "One of Us" so had no pre-conceptions. I thought you drew the characters well and matched both canon and fandom. I always think of Doyle being the caring one, but also that Bodie is quite capable of those finer feelings! The plot was unusual and a good one and if you don't know that area of England, you did well to describe it. If you ever want a Brit check, let me know. I would be honoured to help out.
