Hi everyone and welcome to the first weekly check in post for the 2015 Pros BB!

First I just wanted to remind everyone that the deadline for the writers sign up is March 1st so if you would like to sign up then follow this link:

Okay: so I am over halfway done, but this is 99.99% because it's my story from 2014 (and yes, I did the math).

And I've written 3K words in the last few weeks - for a different challenge, which has yet to happen. I may bag on the challenge and just post, because the story is starting to get bogged down.

You know some day that I will get to the BB itself, and get it done. Well, I at least ordered a book last Saturday because, research. :-)

Will there be BB icons this year? And cookies? Because I could use both right about now...

I started out so well, had ten pages before the sign up. Sigh. Have only 14 pages now and starting to panic about the middle of my story before I've even got to it. Hoping for time to write next week!

I was doing so well :(

I have a plot. I have an ending. I have a list of things to research. I have a list of ideas to include. I have a list of agents, subdivided into retired, dead, active and new. I have the major angst point.

But I've realised I don't actually have any story, as yet, dammit.

I have no words down, but I have a plot, a theme, some scenes in my head, and most importantly (no seriously) a title. February is for finishing something in another fandom and then I can think about actually writing something for this. :-)

Plot, scenes, theme and a title sounds really fantastic to me, you are definitely well on the way especially as we are right at the start of the BB. Good luck with finishing your other work.

I've just crossed the five thousand word mark, but I'm starting to panic that it's too angsty... talking about ways to bribe me to write, I may have to look out some inspirational Doyle pictures *grins*. I think I'm a hardcore DD!
Still worried about the angst though, still wondering if I've bitten off more than I can chew... =-)

5000 words is fantastic! And I say never panic over angst, the more angst the better for me. Of course I am a big Hurt/comfort fan as well.
