I wrote two sentences! Go, meee. :D

Actually not feeling it this week; but I think it's because I'm forcing myself to work on one section and I'm thinking about another. Bleh.

Yay! for the two sentences! That's progress in entirely the right direction! *waves pompoms*

I have been procrastinating for a while (and had the flu last week, whine) but I've written two bits of dialogue just now and plan to go forth and write! At least for about an hour...

I think you might have missed the party on Procrastination Patio last week because you were poorly, in which case, here's a margarita to celebrate the two bits of dialogue and getting better :-)

Er... BB? *Looks wildly around* Oh! That BB! Did someone forge my signature?

Have a margarita!

It'll make you feel better and you never know, it might inspire you. Several margaritas and you might forge someone else's signature so you're not suffering alone. Enough margaritas and you'll think you've already finished your story and not even worry about who forged yours in the first place *hides pen*.

On second thoughts, maybe it'd be best if you just stopped after the one margarita...

Oooh, that looks luscious. I definitely approve of dropping more people into it. Into the BB, I mean, not into the margarita. Although, if it is a very big margarita...

If you want to avoid anyone falling into it, best keep it away from natusko1978.

I am having the same problem with the BB that I've been having with my original novel. Ideas! Lots of ideas! Too many ideas, dammit.

How do I decide which ideas *don't* belong? I have complete head-canon histories for so many of the one-liners they throw into the eps. I almost wish I could do what Hugo did in Les Mis and introduce each character with a five-page biography.

It's the same thing with packing a weekend suitcase: a jumper for if it's cool and a couple of t-shirts for if it's hot and a smart jacket for dinner and an anorak, and a spare of everything in case there's torrential rain or I fall in a ditch (seriously, give me an available body of a water and I *will* fall in it) and I wind up soaked to the skin and I end up taking as much as I'd need for a week.

Waves cheerleading pom-poms enthusiastically but says nothing because you just *know* that whatever I suggest is not going to help. Although maybe if you wrote all the ideas on pieces of paper, scattered the pieces of paper on the floor, put on a blindfold, and then picked up just five of them to include in the story...

How are you at negotiating furniture whilst blindfolded?

Given that I'm clumsy enough to fall into any available water (my younger brother once commented, "I wish we had a camcorder, we could make a fortune off You've Been Framed [this was back in the Jeremy Beadle days] with you!") to smash my coccyx by falling downstairs and also to trip over a tree root on a sponsored walk and cause permanent spinal nerve damage, I am not even going to attempt negotiating the living room blindfolded!

But maybe slips of paper and a hat? Or a list and a pin? Hmmm.

Brothers can be cruel like that (although, crikey, in his defence, it does rather sound as though you were the one who inherited the disaster-looking-for-somewhere-wet-to-happen-in gene...)

Stoats! You could let a stoat loose in the living room and see which bits of paper it chewed first. You wouldn't even need the blindfold then...

I've got to 8'082 words (so precise!) and I'm kinda... stuck. I know exactly what's going to happen - honest! But, I don't know how I'm going to get there. Even worse(?) I had another idea for a BB story, but it's a crossover and I don't know if I want to change this late in the game.

Other than that, everything's grand. It WILL work... eventually! =-)

8082 words is a fabulous total and it's still only March! At this rate
you'll have time to finish the first story *and* write the second one :-)
