Welcome to the 2016 Pros BB Ideas post!

This is the point in the BB proceedings when we ask you to 'fess up and share your wild, not so wild and, in some cases, positively domesticated ideas about what you'd like to see in the 2016 Pros Big Bang. So, pour yourself a margarita, pull up a comfy chair, and tell us all about what you want to be reading this October. Don't be shy!

• If you have a story prompt you’re dying to share, now's the time to air it. You can give as much or as little detail as you like and all genres and pairings are welcome.

General thoughts/ideas/wishes/cravings:

If you don't have a story prompt per se, but do have something like this instead:-

• A deep-seated conviction that there are simply not enough fast-rope insertions in Pros fanfic already (well, what's not to love about a dynamic entry, eh?)

• The feeling that what the fandom is really lacking is a story about a handsome mercenary stumbling across an alien artefact throwing him into conflict with murderous robots led by a sadistic Hegemony enforcer requiring him to be rescued by a curly-haired hovercycle repairman and his unexpectedly-impressive closet full of assault rifles and culminating in hawt, nekkid, zero-grav grappling wish-fulfilment, the solving of a real-(off)world problem, and a very big explosion

• An overwhelming urge to see Pros crossed with a Welsh Corgi to add another regional accent and more agents with short legs to the A-squad

Yay! Let the plot!bunnies run free! (Mine were feeling a little cooped up...)
I love the badass Doyle mechanic/Bodie merc/alien idea - I have a curious weakness for Lads + Sci-Fi!

1. An AU with magic/aliens/etc. but the main cast is completely human. Basically, I'd love to see Bodie and Doyle being completely out of their depth and take a level in badass to beat the baddies.

2. Doyle-Gets-Kidnapped-Bodie-Has-To-Save-Him. Always goes down well with my inner fangirl. :-)

I love your ideas! I have a big soft spot for AUs and Bodie-In-Trouble/Doyle-To-The-Rescue, so your suggestions are right up my street. *g* Add some angst and lashings of hurt/comfort and I'm in fanfic heaven! :-)

Of course, coming from me, you should guess I am longing for more Bodie/Cowley stories. I am not demanding a romance (a genre I don't like much anyway) or any kind of sentimental/sexual relationship between the two of them but a story in which the main focus is set on their interaction, dialogues and psychology. There is at Bodie's core a sort of feudal loyalty that is very interesting to investigate in deep.

Excellent suggestion! The Bodie-Cowley dynamic would be a fascinating one to see explored in a non-sexual, non-romantic way, and I love the thought of Bodie having a feudal-style loyalty to his controller.
