Hi BBers, how’s it all going?
Now I don’t know if it’s right to wish your life away, but we’re one sleep closer to all those delicious stories and all that pretty artwork! Anyone struggling with all those final scenes and the endless editing? (me). Anyone not quite ‘feeling’ the artwork yet (also me).
If you need any inspiration, would a sweet little pic by Suzan Lovett help?

Ha - snap! How very cool - I've just posted a Pros fic review of Harlequin Airs at my lj (http://byslantedlight.livejournal.com/624405.html), and I included some of Lovett's gorgeous illustrations! Today is Suzan Lovett Appreciation Day! *g*

I don't remember seeing this one before (though that doesn't mean I haven't) - where it's from? Do you know the source?

Mmm, very good question. I know I've got the story somewhere, but then I've got quite few of those! The quote underneath the picture in whatever zine it must have appeared, is:

Don't ask me how as I've no idea, but I do have some pictures of the illustrations if you'd like to see them. They're not great pictures, someone has actually photographed the zine itself, but they do give you a general idea. The illustrations of course are fabulous. Loved Harlequin Airs by the way, one of the best ever.

Thank you! Actually I've just been through my own files and found the pics - a kind friend sent them to me ages ago! I tend to remember things less well when they're only on my computer (maybe I should print them all out... *g*) I also checked Fanlore (http://fanlore.org/wiki/Angel_in_the_Dark), which has quite often put up pictures from zines (not always with the author's/artist's permission, I don't think, but they have it this time) - and sure enough, there they are. So yeay! (I was also bemused to see posts of my own re-posted there. My, how netiquette has changed since I first found fandom online...!)

Yes, yes, I would say that drawing definitely helps. *g* If not with the BB, for sad drop-outs like me, then for other stories! Gorgeous.

N'aww. That's really cute, I've never seen that one before.
Err... the story's slogging along and I'm writing like a crazy before family comes over and I have to play the dutiful and totally normal grandchild. :-)

The individual art is done, but I'm still figuring out the whole picture.

Again I say YAY!!! for having the individual art done! (You really are doing ever so well, dear!) Good luck with the composition. (That's the bit I always struggle with.)

I'm doing very different art for my two stories and it's really fun to switch between them. I can't wait to see what everyone comes up with for the BB this year! *iz excited*
