I just wanted to say a quick thank you to our lovely mods, [livejournal.com profile] callistosh65 and [livejournal.com profile] przed for hosting The Professionals fandom's first ever Big Bang.

It's been fun (I'm sure my hair will grow back in eventually) and I'd like to pin a medal on both of you for dealing with all of this with unflagging good humour even when neck deep in spreadsheets.

*tips hat* ♥

Yeah! What Drayce said! *g*

It really has been amazing. Kudos all around. I'm so pleased that this relatively small fandom could pull this off. Yay!

Especially big thanks, though, to [livejournal.com profile] callistosh65 and [livejournal.com profile] przed. You two rock!

Thank you!!!! For all that you did. What a sweet thing to do.:: twirls you:: It really has been the most massive love-fest for the lads this month, and it's been glorious.

Indeed, it would not have been possible without P and her Sacred Spreadsheets...

even when some of us were just one step away from running around screaming with our knickers on our heads.

Now that I'd pay to see. ::plots ways to drive drayce completely 'round the twist next time:: *g*

Hear hear! (or is it 'here here'? I never quite know *g*)

Anyhoo - great big thankies to Zed and Callisto for a fabulous idea backed up by even more fabulous execution! And a big ol' slap on the back to everyone who participated. What a massive achievement for the fandom. *loves on Pros*

Now there's just the small matter of getting time to finish reading everything. People don't mind getting comments for Christmas do they? :)

People won't mind getting an LOC three years from now if that's how long it takes to read as long as they get something! *g*

Massive thanks from me as well, this has been a wonderful event and you both have been brilliant.

A big thanks to all the artists and writers as well, I am catching up on my reading, and having all this work and these stories waiting for me is fantastic.

Yes, thank you! Even though I'm terribly behind (I'm a slow reader especially when lacking a printer and reading online) I feel the Big Bang has helped me re-connect with Bodie and Doyle and my Pros reading and it's a great feeling, one which I've not had for a long, long time. So thank you organisers and writers for giving me that and for all your hard work which is much appreciated, the Big Bang has been a great idea.

If I can tag onto Drayce's coat-tails, I'd like to say thanks too, to callistosh65 and przed. There was no pressure, but there was loads of encouragement. A most enjoyable fest to be part of :)

A big, big thank you to all concerned!

I'll confess to not having read any of the stories yet, but I'm savouring the anticipation!

So, when's the sign-up for next year's Big Bang then?

*winks*

Absolutely. Massive thanks. Not only has it given us a wealth of great stuff to read, it gave me a boost to write something myself - well, finish it anyway! It's great having a target to aim for. And it's been brilliant to be a part of it - however small. We should definitely do this again!

Thank you for taking up every single free minute I've had for an entire month whilst I read. And thank you for taking up tons of time whilst I vidded away and helped with stories. *bg*

Honestly, it's been utterly fabulous. I enjoyed every second! Kudos to you both and to everybody who contributed, who cheerled (is that a word?) and who read the offerings. I love this fandom.

I'd like to say a big thank you to all the writers and artists and organizers of this wonderful Pro's Fest!
The stories were all well written and intriguing. The artwork was fantastic. You are quite a talented group of people. Thank you for sharing this with all of us! I'm sorry to see it end!

To quote Claude Rains in Lawrence of Arabia: "It is generally acknowledged you have a funny sense of fun." What can I say, I also did three years of astrophysics. though I can safely say that got progressively less fun as the math got wackier. :-/

Ho. Lee. Cow. You'd never get me near any sort of chemistry. That was the one science I always struggled with. And by struggle, I mean I contented myself with getting an 80 to maintain that honour student status.

I want to jump in here with my thanks as well. I think the BB was one of the nicest things to happen to the fandom in a long, long time. Thank you both. What a great job you did of keeping us on track and focused and still having fun.

And thanks to everyone who took part. I'm so horrendously far behind on reading now, but at the same time I'm excited (gleeful) at how many stories there are left to enjoy.

Oh yeah! I've been downloading all the e-reader files; thanks so much for putting the fics in this format! Loaded onto my kindle for reading any time, any place. I'm looking forward to getting into them.
Thanks also to all the authors, artists and vidders who gave up their sanity in order to meet deadlines and provide such wonderful stuff.

I'm downloading a story a day to my Reader and next week when I get a nice long weekend off - I'm spending three days reading all these glorious stories. Cannot wait! Thank you, dear writers.
