...to say farewell.

On behalf of [livejournal.com profile] callistosh65 and myself, I'd just like to thank you all for helping make the first annual Pros Big Bang such a lot of fun.

The the writers, artists, and vidders, thank you so much for generously sharing your talent, creativity, and awesomeness.

To Pros fandom in general, thank you for cheerleading, supporting, and providing encouragement to everyone involved.

To [livejournal.com profile] norfolkdumpling, thank you for contributing such a fabulous banner graphic, and then helping your style sheet-impaired mods get it properly installed on the comm.

And to my lovely co-mod, [livejournal.com profile] callistosh65, thank you for embarking on this whirlwind journey with me, for always being the voice of reason, and always being enthusiastic. It's been a wonderful experience.

Here's hoping we're all mad enough keen enough to do it all again next year.

Thanks again. Speaking for myself at least I'm not at all sure I'd have got around to writing a longer story without the Big Bang and its comararderie. ♥

Hey, by my rough calculation the BB produced 694,735 more words of Pros fic. Not bad, not bad at all. *G*

Thank you for the BB experience, I would have never tried to illustrate such a complex story before, so it gave me a great first :D

Ah, apparently my mental maths isn't quite as spiffy as it used to be.

Yay! For once I'm above average. *g*

Thank you both very much! You two pulled this off with good cheer, common sense, logistical brilliance, much needed enthusiasm. Mind you, you were still insane to take this one, but...thank you! *g*

Thank you for being the encouragement for me to write in the fandom! And for the honour of having such a talented artist illustrate my story so brilliantly. It’s been a lot of fun and the two of you did a fantastic job of keeping it all on track.

I've been gone from home and offline for most of the month and haven't had time to read or comment much so far. But I really want you both to know how much I appreciate all your efforts in facilitating this thing. You made it happen (together with all the authors and artists, of course). You are stars!

You guys have done an amazing job. Thank you for your organization, your kindness, your inclusiveness, and for prompting such a wonderful effort on everyone's part.

Now go have a beer (or something stronger...), you both deserve it.

HA. And they said our fandom was dead. ;-D

Thank you both again for all you did to pull this off. Cowley himself couldn't have run a smoother op.

Can't wait for next year.

Thank you indeed. It's a great experience, seeing the results of all this talent in such a short period of time.
I especially liked to see the different approaches the artists took with their stories.

And the stories, of course! Not even through a third of them yet, but what I've read and seen so far was absolutely grand.

Oh and thanks for the statistics, quite a word count, wow!

I am so looking forward to actually reading more of the stories - I simply have't had time!

Thank you to the mods for doing a terrific job with the organisation. It was certainly a challenge *g*, but the results show it was well worth it.
