Here's your opportunity to sign up to offer your services as an editor/beta.
If you haven't done this before, here is how it works: you sign up below to volunteer and if someone needs you to read their story, they ask you to help. You and your writer set your parameters, such as read for plot only, or read for grammar, punctuation, or whatever you both feel comfortable with. Beta readers and editors are important to most writers so that they can present a clean and polished final version of their story.
If you are a writer who already has a beta and/or editor, they don't have to sign up. This is only for folks who want to volunteer to help writers who possibly don't have anybody to help them out.
Thanks a million!

What pairings/genres do you enjoy/are you willing to read: All except Sience Fiction (that's not my cup of tea)
What are your strengths as a beta reader?: plot and I'm good at finding missing quotation marks (or if there are some where you don't need them)
What kind of turn-around time can someone expect from you? depends on the volume, but normaly two days (if I need more because RL is difficult I'll tell immediately)

Strengths? I have done editing for many fanfic writers' stories, all the usual: grammar, punctuation, syntax and plot line. I am a nurse--can help with medical info.
turn-around time--a week or so.

What pairings/genres do you enjoy/are you willing to read: I'm pretty much a B/D girl but I'm not bothered or squicked by a gen or other pairing option. AU scenarios are fine, I might want to waive explicit kink or underage, but that's about it.
What are your strengths as a beta reader?: I know canon well, but I'm not from the UK so I'm no good as a Britpicker. Strong on spelling and grammar, decent on recognising structural issues. I have strong feelings about dialogue. :-)
What kind of turn-around time can someone expect from you?: A week per ten thousand words seems realistic at the moment.

What pairings/genres do you enjoy/are you willing to read: Gen/Slash, Canon, Older lads is all fine. AU isn't really my bag (SciFi, Fantasy etc).
What are your strengths as a beta reader?: Brit picking, plot, characterisation, grammar.
What kind of turn-around time can someone expect from you?: Pretty quick, usually in day, unless it's a long piece.
Cheers
