Hopefully all the artists still have hair and writers still have working keyboards and computers. . . .I know I have NEVER wanted to throw mine across the room. . . .My cat has picked off tiles, in his effort to help, of course.

If there are things you all need help with. . . .or you need to vent or discuss. . . just holler out ( I promise to keep my hand to ear) or type if you want to do it the easy way. .

I've come to a bit of a standstill recently.
I have actually written over 20k words but they're not necessarily in an order that makes for coherent sentences!
So, I thought I'd have a bit of a break and come back with fresher eyes.

I did sit down this afternoon and actually managed to rearrange two thousand of the random words. They seem to make a bit more sense - to me, anyway. ;D

I write that way to - bits and pieces of the story come to me at different times and then comes the fun part of having to tie them all together. But 20K words! - that's great!

Just come back from holiday and managed to write in excess of 8,000 words while away (the beauty of having the laptop and no wifi/phone reception!). Slowly getting there but can't quite connect the middle to the end, I will crack it sooner rather than later.

58,000 words in and it still keeps going off at odd tangents! Anyone else find they sit down to write with a sort of plan in mind and then the bloody thing writes itself in a completely different direction?

I'm having the opposite problem - instead of running off in all directions, my story has stalled :-(
