Weekly Check In Post

Wow, how quickly this year seems to have gone!
This will be my last weekly check in until November when it will sadly all be over for another year.
For now however, it’s still all to play for. Are you racing to the finish like Bodie in his car?
Or are you falling by the wayside like Doyle on his crutches?
If you’ve got time to drag yourselves away from those keyboards, we’d love to know!
Either way, it’s time for those final, deep, hard pushes everyone, the final stretches loom…

Deep edits about three quarters done... the remaining quarter will take quite a bit of work. One scene remains stubbornly unwritten, but will hopefully be wrestled into submission in the next few days.
My beta is awesome and has made me think hard, and this is a good thing...
