Well - here we are! Safely past the Ides of March, just about done with the last of the green beer (St. Patty's Day, if you celebrate), and only three and a half months left until that first BB draft is due.

So, a quick poll: how's it going?
  1. Done. AND Cowley is pleased. (BWAHAHAHAHA - though there actually are a couple of people who may be done).
  2. Well, I've got B&D in the same room, but they sure don't want to get together...
  3. One hundred words, and proud of 'em!
  4. I have six billion different starts, and none of them are going anywhere <=== my current state
  5. BB? There's a BB?

Let us know which one you fall under. Misery loves company. Talking it out can help! :D

I guess I'm in category 2. I'm not far off the minimum word count, but that means nothing as I still can't seem to sit down and really get 'into' the story yet and there is still a very very long way to go...

I have faith that it will all come together. Life... story... lads.

I've started but am
very frustrated with the little time I have to write--but Doyle is on the run and Bodie is worrying. So that's good.

Still lots of time, so don't worry! A running Doyle and a worrying Bodie make for a lot of plot possibilities!

Already sounds like my kind of story!

I think I'm somewhere between 5 and 4. I've done quite a bit of plotting and I know where it's all going to end up, but there's been no actual writing yet.

However, after all these years, I have finally learnt how to turn on livejournal notifications so I no longer have to rely on my less than perfect memory to remember to check in. And seeing the notifications pop up in my email hopefully means that time won't get away from me this year. I'll take that as a win!

Every little bit of encouragement helps. Even if it's an auto-notification from LJ!

I've done a lot of plotting in my head, both big picture and small scene... and even scratched out a couple of pages of outline. I _think_ I know where I'm going with this. But not a word word officially written yet.
I have a week of vacation coming up in April, where I intend to set aside some specific time for writing.

Sounds like good progress and a good plan!

Words will work themselves out (with time available, of course) as long as you know where it's all going. Having the scenes in your head is a big part of the real journey done. Keep going.

I'm 16,000 words in but really need to get the story moving. I'm away for a work course next week - 3 nights in a hotel for me and the laptop to get reacquainted might help. Sill have no idea where things are going but like Queenafoster said words will come, so I guess I'm somewhere near 1
