In this final week of March, how are we doing??

Are you loving spring or fall (Of course if you live in Southern Calif spring was last Thursday and summer has already begun=0)

Are you happily typing away, scribbling notes, giving Bodie and Doyle lots of alone time?

Or are you still wondering what fresh hell have you let yourself in for. . .


Do these issues plague you?
- words go down on paper only to vanish when you're not looking
- you set time aside to write only to discover that you have to wash your hair
- you had the best idea and all the parts fit just as you were drifting off to sleep only to wake in the morn and you can't remember any of it

How are you all doing?? This is the place to ask, scream, happy dance or wander in bewilderedly seeking answers.

The fresh hell does occur to me almost every time I sit down to write, however, I added some extra exposition to the beginning of the story and think the rest is beginning to take off--fingers crossed.

Bit of a break through! Deleted like 200 words but think I came up with a new plot device that will work.

Yay! New plot device. Who says procrastination is a bad thing? I've been procrastinating since last July when I had to drop out of last year's BB at 8000 words and haven't added another since! You give me hope :-)

Little steps back followed by giant leaps forward. Take that trade off any day. A lot of time, it's know what to take out that tightens up a story.

Still made very little progress, but that's mostly to do with RL constraints on my time.

The last week of March?
Surely you're mistaken, it's only the second week of February, right? We've got lots of time...

April is coming... I definitely do have plans to set aside writing time. And in the meantime, I'm playing with the lads in my head.

Fresh hell is lurking, but I do hope to keep it at bay.

Put the writing time down in the calendar and then schedule RL around that. (Sounds so simple in principle...)
