Date: 2011-05-27 12:18 am (UTC)I've managed to double my previous word count... but before anyone gets too excited, that only puts me at around 3,000 words. *g* I've cleared the deck though, so the next four weeks is going to be solely devoted to my story... mostly. ;) (Just got asked to do some artwork for someone)

I'm also a little stuck - as I posted on my LJ a couple of days back, "when I explain the plot it sounds actually pretty interesting, but when I try to write it I get stuck" - but I think it's more I need to put it down for a couple of days. It's a three-day weekend here starting tomorrow, so maybe around Sunday / Monday I'll see if I can get some writing done.
I'm pretty sure I'll make the word count. But, considering the characters have really changed since I started, and I'm trying to write rather than revise right now, the first draft is going to be oogly.

There's a large part of my brain that's infamous for settling determinedly on a story I have no business/interest/too much sanity to write... but it won't relinquish my handful of braincells to let them think of something else. So I stall in the vain hope that another... nicer idea might come to me. Hah! Anyway, that's where I am right now.
I normally limit my PWP writing activities and all I can think of when I think of 20,000 words of PWP is poor, exhausted, sore lads.
