Now that all you writers know who you are (and we know how awesome you are) it's time for another check in post.

Writers, how are you coming? Lots written? A little? Not a sausage? And what challenges have you hit? Too much plot? Not enough? Too many sex scenes. (Wait, can you have too many sex scenes?)

Cheerleaders, let's give those writers some encouragement. Or a little friendly mocking. Whatever you think will get those creative juices flowing.

I've dusted off my partially finished story this week and have been working on it. Still got a ways to go yet, but at least my muse has been sitting on my shoulder, whispering in my ear and helping me along *g*. I'm hoping as long as I treat him right, he'll keep giving me ideas for this story and not disappear *pets muse gently*

Well, he likes to poke *g* so he'd probably be all right with that. Ever since I first saw the brilliant Michael Jeter do this



in The Fisher King he's just been my mental image of my muse. Yeah, I know, I know, it explains a lot... particularly when he runs off to Vegas for weeks at a time.

I adored Jeter, but then musicals are a weakness of mine too. I'm sad to see that youtube no longer harbours his stellar performance of "everybody ought to have a maid" that used to be posted there.
