Hello, fellow Pros lovers! Time is fast approaching for submission of final drafts. It's time for the weekly check in post. Feel free to give me an update on your progress. If there are any problems, drop me or any of the other co-mods a note and we'll get back to you ASAP.

I don't have anything brilliant to say, but I would like to ask if anybody needs any sort of help. I'd be happy to read something to give you my opinion or if you have a problem with POV, that's my strong suit so I can help with that.

I'm great--I think I am within a scene or three of the end. Yay. Wrote a scene yesterday that hadn't been planned whatsoever, just flowed out of my fingers onto the screen and tied up two characters (not literally, you swine)neatly and gave them a graceful exit. However, my icon is apt for the story. ;-D

I'm going through yours, too, Miss Kat, and it rocks. About half way done.

Oh, cool. I can't wait to read it, especially now that I've been a dozen eps or so of The Racing Game. Yay for bondage and romance!

Editing like a fiend. I had about a month with a problem (which I discussed with przed but it's been remedied.

This wasn't quite how I wanted to do it - my life's probably going to be miserable the next few weeks - but I felt yesterday like I got my groove back. I think we'll make it.

My artist is still pretty cool, too. :D

Story is done! Just have a few minor things to fix on the advice of my beta. I'm working on figuring out a title! This has been fun. Now I'll start getting nervous about posting!

*boggles* Wow, you don't have a title yet? If I don't have a title before I finish a story, I panic. lol (that's just me, though) I'm sure you have nothing to be nervous about in regards to posting.

I'm the same way. The title doesn't always come first, but if I don't have one by about the middle of the story I'm worried!

I think for me the story doesn't really have a life until it's titled so that's one of the first things I do. Now I might change it as the story progresses but it does have a title by the end of page one, if not before!

Heck, we all work differently. Getting finished is what counts.

I've actually titled quite a few stories for other folks in my day.

I find that I write better if I have a title, which is just weird, and yeah, if there's still no title by the middle of the story, I'm usually wailing to my long-suffering beta. *g*

Oh good! Congratulations. Me, I love titling stories! It's like naming a puppy or a baby: they gotta have a good one. :) Heck, I'm always nervous about posting!

I have just this evening crossed the 30,000 word mark. Which is great. Except that I've got at least 6 scenes and 6,000 words left to go, and a heck of a lot of RL stuff in the offing.

But at least it's flowing well, and the end is in sight.
