Wow - this was just wonderful, really intense and gorgeously written (the vid was lovely too!). I felt so much for both Bodie and Doyle during this story and I was on tenterhooks to see how it would all turn out.

Wow - thanks very much for that. Great filling in of the settings, and just how semi-magical it was out there in the middle of nowhere. Plus I thought the characterization - guilty Doyle (and, for that matter, *guilty* Bodie) down to what happens in the end - was spot on, too.

And ILWB's perfect use of canon episode footage just reinforces all that.

I'm not 100% up on all the reading, but I am enjoying just how good all the BB fics are. :D

I loved this story. As always, your writing transports me into the vivid landscapes, both physical and emotional, that you create and I found it exciting, wonderfuly angsty and unputdownable! Once I had finished, I immediately wanted to read it again to savour the descriptions now that I didn't have to find out how this was all resolved.
Yet another 'fish' story to go firmly at the top of my favourites list!

A great story, the descriptions are perfect, as is the writing. A wonderful portrayal of the lads, their vulnerabilities, and what lengths they will go to in their love for each other. I love the slow unfolding of Bodie’s self-awareness and the promise of a happy future in the sun.

Wow. This was absolutely the *perfect* fic for me. I was cuaght up in the story instantly - there's something about a vulnerable and then hurt Bodie that gets me every time, espeiclaly when it's all done in your magical word choices and story rhythms. And then to have the lads on the run together? Still trying to work things out? Be still my heart.

As I fully expected, this was a truly lovely story. Your writing is simply lush, with such vivid descriptions, and you have such a perceptive view of Bodie and Doyle. And the plot is amazing, with truly astounding twists and turns: Doyle abandoning his principles when he thinks Bodie is dead, Bodie sacrificing all to rescue Doyle, the villains nearly getting Doyle in the end. Lovely lovely stuff.

And the vid is wonderful too!

I can always tell when I'm really in love with a story - I start to read slower and slower and find excuses to put it down and pick it up again, like a child leaving the best bits on the plate for last *g* Tragically, in spite of managing to spin it out for a week, I've come to the end. The good thing is - now I can start it all over again, safe in the knowledge of the ending (*g*), and enjoy it a second time... this is my very long winded way of saying wow, lush, fabulous, and thank you!
