Yay! Congrats on posting!

I think you've really captured one of the main conflicts in B&D fanfic - their ability to admit both the relationship and that it could be more than a passing fancy. Given their characterization, their despair and innate stubbornness is part of the package. That's a big thing to me.

Roven's artwork captures that crucial point, too - you both got it down.

Thanks for the nice note. I sometimes have trouble with characterization, but I was hoping I carried it off this time. Their relationship is always enigmatic being what the two men are.

Yeah, Bodie's kept his independent streak and it comes out in the story; I'm glad it shows in the picture, too. And you only know what you'd be missing when you're about to lose it or have lost it, right?
