Notes: I'd like to thank Mella68 for the artwork and for her cooperation in achieving what this writer requested.  I'd also like to thank SS, my editor, for her dedication in making me tell this story and then in pulling the spelling, grammar and consistency into shape.  Of course, any remaining errors are purely mine.  And I mustn't forget ILWB, who led the cheering section, getting me to this point.

To the moderators, thank you for your assistance and understanding.  Your information posts were always helpful.  To the other writers in the Big Bang 2011, I'm in awe.

Well done Judes and congrats for getting it posted. The art work is wonderful. Well done Mella68, that cover piccie is gorgeous and I love how the background flows around their images and is so soft on the edges. Great composition.

This was such a fun story :) I loved all the little nods to Pros canon - the new roles for all the characters, down to the name of Bodie's musical :) Thanks for a great read!

This is a very unusual plot, makes me think of Torch Song by Courtney Gray. I'm looking forward to reading it.
The artwork is impressive, the montage, the texture, and above all I love the coloring. A beautiful piece of art. The pink teddybear looks great, btw. ;-)

Thank you so much for sharing this! It's not the rough and tumble CI5 world, but I really liked the look backstage and how well Bodie and Doyle were adapted for the world of theater. They totally fit.

Also enjoyed Mella's artwork and how well it incorporates the key points of the story. I also love the smudge effect, although I don't know what you call that (the smudge effect?).

Thanks very much - and congrats! :D

That was wonderful! I kept putting it down so that I wouldn't reach the end too fast and then grabbing it again because I couldn't wait. (I put it on my Kindle.) I loved the fascinating glimpses of the theatrical world and the way our lads were seamlessly transferred into it, with their own characters and voices but up against a very different set of problems. I also liked the way you wove tiny details of the crime investigator's life into the story, in the accountancy fraud, the problems at the manor and Veronica's blackmail attempt. A truly great AU.

This was so well written. It would make a really good 'original' novel, with the serial numbers suitably filed off, of course. Rather like Larton!! Have you considered it? You should - there are quite a few m/m e-book publishers who would, I think, be only too pleased with it.

The art is gorgeous and I have saved the 'cover' to use as the virtual cover on Calibre, the program I use to store my 'keepers' and convert them for Kindle viewing.

Thank you both so much for a great deal of pleasure!

This was a very fun read. I love the way you weaved "canon" into the story. The developing relationship between B&D was a very sweet love story. This was very well written.

I love the artwork. The pink Teddy-bear made me smile (although I'm not sure he deserved his fate! *g*) The montages were beautiful.

Well done, both of you! Join us for chocolate!

Thank you for your nice comment about the artwork, especially the pink teddy. Like judes said, it was a mistake on my side, cause I mixed up pink and purple (german here). Judes was so nice and changed it in her story. Thank you, hon.

As Bodie and Doyle were falling in love, I too fell in love with this story. I enjoyed so much about it: the theatrical background, the familiar CI5 characters who could fit effortlessly into a totally different world and particularly the main characters of Bodie and Doyle. I could really see Bodie as some kind of ambitious impressario, but one who, given half a chance, could become a carefree little boy again. Most of all I really liked the plausible way you depicted their falling in love: not ridiculously quickly as some stories would have it but you struck up a good pace, one which teased enough to maintain the reader's interest but wasn’t over long. Great storyline, too!

Thanks for all your hard work here.

This was a fantastic read! I adore AUs and this was just my cup of tea! I loved the roles you gave Bodie and Doyle and the other agents, and I thought all the Pros references you incorporated into the story were completely brilliant and so cleverly done.

And having read the story, I really appreciate how beautifully the artwork compliments it.

Thank you very much!

That was such a fun read - thank you! And having read it, I can see how wonderfully the artwork fits it too.

I love the way you've bent the CI5 crew to fit different roles; I fell instantly in love with Doyle's Mum; and the gentle slow romancing and falling in love was realistic, sweet and believable.

Thank you for writing and sharing it with us.
