[identity profile] saintvic.livejournal.com posting in [community profile] ci5_boxoftricks
A big hello and welcome to our latest check in post.

Thought I would start this post with links to a couple of sites that have some great stuff on them:

Internet Movie Car Database – Professionals section

Internet Movie Firearms Database – Professionals section

Next, as it is a Monday and we all need pretty things on a Monday, a few pics for you:

And lastly, as always, let us know how you are getting on in the comments, whether you are thinking, planning, plotting, writing, beta-ing, editing, cheerleading, or, like me, just waiting eagerly.

EDIT: In the comments [livejournal.com profile] golden_bastet linked to the seven point system which looks really interesting.

Nearly ready to send my proposed rough draft off to my beta, which comprises about a quarter of the entire fic, together with a vague outline of the rest;P Then I just have to wait for a verdict *pushes panic button*

Of course after that, and provided I get a green light, the rest of it has to be written ...

Your beta is going to take it away with her to read under the orange trees so it will get a golden glow...

Sorry, tried to reply to saintvic and ended up replying to you! Hope I haven't caused too much confusion! Also hope the golden glow works ...:P Maybe it will gloss over the inadequacies *g*

As you sent it this morning it might get read in the current grey horrible weather in UK - and will therefore cheer me up!

(No confusion here. Was I supposed to be confused?...)

I shall hope for cheering and not depressing*g* You may not have been confused but I was, during my posting of replies that seemed to go awry and I tried deleting and ... never mind ... we just won't go there*bg*

See--you're already made much progress, you can write more! (shakes my pom-poms for you)

Thanks for the pom-pom shake, think I need it:) Getting the rough draft requirements done has helped with the confidence though!

vague outlines are good - it means you know where you're going, and have loads of time to get there.

So long as I don't get lost on the track*g* Will wait to see what my beta says and hope she likes it;)

You're doing well! I'm sure your beta is going to tell you it's brilliant and get writing because she wants to read more! You can do it! *cheers*

I hope so! Waiting to find out if what you've written is okay or complete rubbish is nerve wracking. I always feel it's rubbish so if I get a positive response there's always a big sigh of relief.

I agree totally. Waiting for beta feedback that what you've written isn't totally rubbish is a very anxious time. I hope by now you've received confirmation from your beta that your story is fabulous!

Positive feedback was received:) The only problem is that she has quite rightly pointed out how long this fic will have to be. Now I'm very concerned about being able to finish it for the final deadline. Maybe it will have to be held over for the next BB ...(sigh!)

Yay for positive feedback! Oh dear. Well, the end of September is still quite a way away. I hope you can manage to get the story done on time.
