ci5_boxoftricksWell, big bangers. Warm, isn't it? I'd love to say that I've been beavering away at artwork for my lovely author's story (waves at ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif){kind=small}
msmoat) day and night, but the truth is that I've mostly been hugely enjoying reading that story as it unfolds, and laying on the floor whining about how hot it is outside. Not the most productive use of my time I admit, so this weekend, I'm opening GIMP and I'm going in! Wish me luck :D
So, writers and artists - how's it going? All done, nearly there, or just enjoying the journey? It's all good! Let us know in the comments where you're up to and give our gorgeous cheerleaders a chance to shake their pom poms in your direction. The Olympic opening ceremony tonight won't have anything on our squad!

Really need another 5-7k for this plot though - not hiding in a cupboard rocking just yet but give it time *g* I do at least know (or think I know) pretty much what's going to happen, even the last lines. And, you know, I have a title, that's good, right?

And my artist is truly brilliant. She is bringing my story to life.
The next challenge will be successfully posting the thing online on my alloted day ...

My attempts at artwork came to a horrible halt due to technical difficulties - family members trying to burn the house down, trips to A&E, yadda yadda, the usual *g* But! This weekend I have time and ideas to play with. And wine! I am bouncy-happy-joy like you wouldn't want to be near *g*

My own story hasn't moved at all due to 'technical difficulties' in my beta's life, but I do expect to have it completely done and dusted by the end of August, so well in time.
