First, a little housekeeping business.

While it is not required, we actively encourage our Big Bang participants to post their stories and artwork to our Big Bang Collections over at Archive of Our Own. There will be detailed instructions closer to posting time.

All stories loaded to the AO3 are automatically available for downloading for electronic readers in MOBI, EPUB, PDF and HTML formats which is particularly beneficial to many of our fen who have health issues.

So, if you've signed up for our Big Bang as either a writer or artist, and do not yet have an AO3 membership, please let me know as we have some to hand out. This way you can begin familiarizing yourself with the site by perhaps loading older or, for that matter, current work to your account.

All rightey then, let's check in!

Archive of Our Own is a great site, I have nearly everything I've ever written there, not just Pros Big Bang stories.

The current story is going along fairly well, now that visiting family and friends have departed and I sent what I have off for a preliminary beta read just to make sure I'm not nuts and unable to plot. lol

Are there any requirements for sloats, beavers or other small animals in this year's output? Just want to stay abreast of the going trends and not spill too much tea in the Capri if these things pop up last minute.

I'm here! *waves wildly* I've got another edit to do for a fellow writer before I get to my own story but I'm making progress (hopefully). Unless I cry a lot and toss it over a bridge.

I'm here! But I'm in exactly the same place I was a fortnight ago - 3,500 words written. I got... distracted... what can I say? But I do have a plot and an idea of what I'm doing and why, and am thinking that most terrible of things - 'I've got loads of time to write it'.
Love AO3, btw :)

Well, the family stuff is calming down, but right now I'm catching up on the work stuff. They've finally replaced a key person after four months, so there's a chance it will be wrassled to the ground and become more manageable.

...Well, truthfully, I'm not sure if what I've been writing will be *it*, but I'm hoping to start trading ideas with someone in the near future.

- once all the other stuff tapers down to a dull roar.

Two stories going on, have written some chapters for each - but both are missing an essential piece - a plot! :-(

Here's hoping for a bolt of lightening... er... inspiration... yeah, that's what's needed! Inspiration - and a few good ideas too! *g*
