We've heard back from our last artist, and I'm in the midst of getting out the second round story claims. But in the meantime, I thought it might be cool to look at some of the numbers all you lovely people have produced for the Pros Big Bang so far.

Number of Writers and Stories: 24

Number of Artists: 12
Number of Stories Artists Will Be Claiming: 20

And my favourite statistic...
Number of Words Produced by Our Writers So Far: 548,745

That's over half a million words! And many of the stories aren't done yet.

So take a bow, writers and artists. You are all awesome, and I can't wait to see the final versions all the lovely work you're producing.

Do you need more art? I know I already claimed two, but if I have until September, I'm pretty sure I can manage one more....

Wow, that is awfully impressive. As I've said elsewhere, I'm just so impressed with the ambition of both the writers and the artists. It's amazing. Yay, Pros!

548,745 -- Well, that's just Callisto and you, how about the rest of us? *whistles*

I'm looking forward to September as a *reader* although I think even with stories being posted on different days there's still going to be a lovely, lovely backlog. *g*

I'm beginning to have a truly nasty suspicion that my story might be end up at least twice as big as planned... I'm having naughty thoughts about cutting out my sub-plot. I know, you hoped that sentence was going in a different direction. *g*

I keep watching my word count climb in the story--29,000 (so far) and think, when am I going to finish this darn thing? I mean, I know where it's going, but it's taking a damned long time to get there!

Oh, good lord. Now I feel...inadequate. Oh well! Mine will be small, but finely formed...

(And I am totally not trying to go the innuendo route here but it seems impossible. I'll just slink away now.) *g*

Nothing with small but finely formed, my friend. You and I will set that club up together, and squeeze oourselves in between these 60K plus folk.*g*
