Hello!

As AO3 is currently backed up on offering invites to the archive I thought I'd go ahead and offer the memberships I have left over from last year's Big Bang to this year's Big Bang participants.

If you are a participating writer or artist in the 2012 Pros Big Bang and do not yet have an Archive of Our Own membership but would like one, please contact me with an e-mail address (the archive will send the membership link to you). You can do this by leaving your e-mail addie here or by sending it to me via PM. I currently have five invitations available, so it's on a first come, first served basis.

To be clear, you are NOT required to post your Big Bang story or artwork to AO3 in order to participate in the Pros Big Bang.

Still, we encourage this action because all stories loaded to the AO3 are automatically available for downloading for electronic readers in MOBI, EPUB, PDF and HTML formats and because the stories and artwork can be gathered together in to Pros Big Bang collections such as the ones for 2010 and 2011.

IF you’ve already posted your story/art to AO3 but forgot to add it to the previous years’ collections it is not too late and it’s very simple to do so.

Just open your story in edit and scroll down to the “associations section.” Where it says “post to collections/challenges” enter either Pros_Big_Bang_2011 or Pros_Big_Bang_2010 depending on which year’s collection you’re adding your story to and be sure to save your changes. Actually, when you start to type, predictive text should fill in the rest, just be sure to pick the right year.

ETA: This year's collection, for 2012, will also be able to be added later by following the above instructions and using Pros_Big_Bang_2012
