Artist's posts at CI5 Box Of Tricks

Hello

Well posting has started and there are already some fantastic stories and pieces of art at the comm.

And as it was a big change from previous years we just wanted to remind you that this year all artists will be doing their own post at the main ci5_boxoftricks comm.

We decided to ask both artists and authors to make their own posts at the comm this year, in order to help artists get the feedback they deserve and to try to eliminate the issue of both parties trying to co-ordinate posting times.

Templates for posting at ci5_boxoftricks were sent out a few days ago and we asked that both artists and writers post before midnight GMT on their assigned day. This does not need to be done at the same time so you can both post when convenient.

As always please let us know if you have any questions and thank you for taking part.

Oops - I forgot to say ta ever so for the templates... you're too good to us, you know that? They're a great help, plus posting separately takes a lot of twitching out of the process!

Haha, I still remember last year... it was my first year posting and I and my (very wonderful) artist were (are) at opposite ends of the earth. And she put herself out ridiculously to accommodate the posting time, and we had this hilarious email conversation over half an hour as we tried to coordinate things, and at one stage we thought we had lost the entire post and really, of such crises, eternal bonds are made.

'Do you remember when we...?' and 'You only understand if you were there' and so on, and oh dear!

Eeeekkkk that does sound like a rather traumatic, if bonding, process.. I think worrying I'd lost the post would have panicked me hugely so we are very glad you both managed to get posted!
