It must have been nerve wracking being the first story up, but I'm so pleased you did it. It's an intense story, I loved getting inside Doyle's head, feeling his worry for Bodie first hand. Well, you certainly managed to set the bar high for the rest of us! Downloaded it onto my Kindle at an ungodly hour this morning before heading to the airport. Made the flight to Dallas pass in a flash.

I love how you put us right inside Doyle's head (and heart) - the 'ink' part had me cringing in sympathy - and the Cowley/Doyle bits were terrific. Loved the tension between them even though they both knew they were after the same outcome.

Your Bodie/Doyle relationship was so nicely written; very warm and comfortable and exactly how I see them.

Wow this was amazing, I couldn't put it down, it kept me on the edge of my seat the whole way through. All the characters came to life. I could feel the fear from Ray for Bodie when he didn't know if Bodie was alive and for himself during the op and Cowley's fear too. I loved the banter between the lads especially when they escaped their prison, I could just see the conversation and their bravado in my mind's eye. I am a sucker for H/C and you managed to feed my addicton very nicely. Well done.

I must mention the poster that Cloudless has created, a perfect accompliment to the story. Great design and a great reflection of the story it's promoting.

Fantastic story! I'm new to all that is "The Professionals" and came across this while "surfing". Your portrayal of Ray's feelings is so moving. All the relationships are so well portrayed. And a tattoo for Doyle! Love it.

A great start to the Big Bang month! Gripping stuff (I was really worried about what might be happening to Bodie off-screen, you conveyed Doyle's fears so convincingly).

I didn't quite realize until I read the whole story over how much fear is a theme of the piece.
