Submitting your drafts...
Sep. 16th, 2011 08:52 amAs we are now getting ever closer to our deadline of 23rd September we thought we'd put up the details of what you need to do with your stories and art.
Writers
Send your completed story to the following email address:
prosbigbang@gmail.com
Please use the following naming convention for the file:
prosbigbang_yourname_storytitle.doc
We're expecting that your draft is complete at this point, though you can definitely tweak before your posting date.
Artists
Please send the rough draft of your art to the same addresses above. It's not necessary to have completed art by this point (though that would be lovely) but we would like to know that you're on the way to finishing.
Writers and Artists
Since our next step is to create the posting schedule, please let us know if there are any dates that we should absolutely avoid giving you.
We want to make sure everyone has a date they're comfortable with, and one on which they can easily get their story or art up.
We’ll do our best to accommodate any requests, but we’d like everyone to appreciate that we're aiming to spread the stories out as evenly as possible throughout the month.
Next Steps
Once we have everyone's stories and art, we will be putting together the posting schedule. When that's done, we'll be sending everyone their posting date, along with details of how to create a post at
ci5_boxoftricks with links to whichever location you’ve chosen to post your story and art to (LJ, Dreamwidth, The Automated Hatstand, AO3, etc).
And as a reminder if you do not wish to post to AO3 but would still like to make a downloadable version of your story available to your readers, we would ask that you be ready to submit a Rich Text Format file of your story. You will need to send this to us 2 or 3 days ahead of your posting date.
And that's it!
Drop us a line at the addresses above if you have any questions or issues.
Thanks once again to everyone for participating. We can't wait to see everyone's contributions to the challenge.

Posting Dates
Date: 2011-09-16 03:10 pm (UTC)For me, I absolutely can't do the 25th October or the rest of October/first week November. I would ideally prefer to post before the 21st October. Cheers *g*

Re: Posting Dates
Date: 2011-09-16 05:48 pm (UTC)I should have something properly ready for you to peruse by the end of Sunday. Try to contain your excitement. *g*
I can pretty much post the art anytime, so I'll go along with whenever you can do.

Date: 2011-09-16 07:27 pm (UTC)I'm glad to hear you've got more posting flexibility - hopefully they'll be able to give us a mutually suitable date then *g*

Date: 2011-09-16 10:17 pm (UTC)I'm easy as far as posting date goes, it just depends upon what dates will work for my lovely artist.

Date: 2011-09-17 03:22 pm (UTC)Did we had to send art work drafts last BB? We did? Oh...
And you are really sure you WANT to see drafts? My art work is genuinely shy at this point *g*

Date: 2011-09-18 01:08 pm (UTC)The only reason for sending art drafts is so that we can make sure the artist is heading towards completion. You still have time after that to work on it, of course, up to your posting day. :)
