...to say farewell.

On behalf of callistosh65 and myself, I'd just like to thank you all for helping make the first annual Pros Big Bang such a lot of fun.

The the writers, artists, and vidders, thank you so much for generously sharing your talent, creativity, and awesomeness.

To Pros fandom in general, thank you for cheerleading, supporting, and providing encouragement to everyone involved.

To norfolkdumpling, thank you for contributing such a fabulous banner graphic, and then helping your style sheet-impaired mods get it properly installed on the comm.

And to my lovely co-mod, callistosh65, thank you for embarking on this whirlwind journey with me, for always being the voice of reason, and always being enthusiastic. It's been a wonderful experience.

Here's hoping we're all mad enough keen enough to do it all again next year.

What they all said! It's great that having started with a 'wouldn't it be good if...' conversation, you actually DID IT! And so successfully - great organising there.

I'm slowly getting down to reading - I hope people don't mind receiving feedback weeks or months later!

I'm fascinated by the idea of BB as a snapshot (more of a feature-length film, really!)of where Pros fanfic is right now. What are the themes, styles etc. typical of Pros fanfic in 2010? Looking forward to finding out...

It was a completely crazy idea, but I'm glad/relieved that it all worked out in the end.

I do like the idea of the BB as a snapshot of the state of Pros fandom.
